Energising your body and mind

Exercise develops muscular strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and co-ordination to facilitate moving with ease, flow and grace. Classes & Private sessions use the Pilates Reformer Tower and smaller apparatus – balls, bands, rings, hand weights and foam rollers to support and challenge movements. MELT Balls, Rollers and Bands are used to release tension, activate core & stabilising mechanisms and realign the body.

The 'Larger Pilates Equipment Work' exercises are dynamic and versatile, offering a variety of spring resistances to challenge, progress or regress exercises. General, personal, rehabilitative or elite physical performance training available.

Private bespoke sessions

Get 1-2-1 attention to maximise success in reaching your goals, practice between sessions and follow recommendations given to create healthy movement patterns. Improve gross motor skills, rhythm, co-ordination, walking, balance, reduce stress, tension and more. You can add group sessions and online courses to enhance your training.

Online classes

Online Zoom classes are a perfect way to be able to access your Pilates class at home, work or when travelling. All you require is a good internet or mobile signal and some space to move in. You will need your camera switched on for the session so that you can be seen and corrected whilst exercising.

  • Zumba classes give you all the benefits of Pilates with Instructor corrections live.

Matwork & small equipment

Classes are based on the Body Control Pilates methodology, built around 8 basic principles - increase your body awareness, improve alignment and movement patterns, and cater for individual needs. Medically approved and holistic in nature, the exercises develop muscular strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and co-ordination to facilitate moving with ease, flow and grace. Classes are mat based and use small apparatus – balls, bands, rings, hand weights and foam rollers to support and challenge movements.

Reformer pilates

The reformer is a dynamic and versatile machine that works with a glide board and variety of spring resistances to challenge stability, balance, stamina, strength, flexibility and provide feedback. 


The reformer exercises offer greater degrees of progression, regression, adaptability and intensity that fast-tracks improvements, whether objectives are general, personal, rehabilitative or elite physical performance training.

The MELT Method uses four different balls, a soft body roller and band to rehydrate connective tissues, rebalance the nervous system, realign and restore the space to compressed joints.

MELT pilates

MELT Pilates is a unique blend of the two techniques:

  1. First, the MELT balls and soft roller are used to prepare the body for the demands of Pilates.

  2. Then the soft half roller is used as a prop under the ribs or pelvis or along the spine during classical Pilates mat work or apparatus exercises.

 

This helps to bring you the precision of Pilates apparatus techniques and group mat class, to get a deeper core workout, while reducing the risk of injury.

S.E.A.T sessions

Stretch, exercise, align and tone with the Pilates Chair - a dynamic and versatile piece of equipment. Its narrow base of support and platform plus variable spring resistance pedal increase the physical and technical challenge of the exercises performed. Resistance can be customised and exercises can be done to challenge movements whilst standing, seated, on all fours and lying.

 

S.E.A.T. classes challenge muscular endurance, strength, flexibility, alignment, balance, co-ordination, concentration, patience and focus.

Specialist movement

Lifestyle, work, injury, surgery, pain, poor movement habits, dysfunctional joint and soft tissue relationships and neurological conditions interrupt and change how we move.

 

Healthy movement patterns are restored with a unique 5 phase method of rehabilitation and neuromuscular movement re-education using functional movement.

 

This initial course comprises 6 individually tailored sessions designed to improve the alignment and straightness in your movement.

Inspired by international Latin music and dance steps, Zumba is a dynamic, exciting workout that combines all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility, boosted energy and a series does of awesome each time you leave the class. 


Classes mix high and low intensity movements for all abilities - breath, smile, move have fun and let the music and rhythms take you on a journey that invigorates and energises.
