What are your sleep related habits? And how do they impact on your health?

We all have habits, patterns, routines and cycles. In fact, daily cycles are part of nature. But how do your habits affect your health? In this short video I look at our sleep / wake patterns and their impact on our MEMEs - Movement, Energy, Mindset and Emotions. Have you ever thought about your sleep patterns? How do you wake up? Think how - if your alarm screeches at you and shocks you out of your sleep - what impact does that have on you? 🏃‍♀️ On your movement? Do you jump up? ⚠️ Your energy? Is it now fast and furious? 👀 Your mindset? Are you now on high alert? 😳 Your emotions? Have you put your body in to panic mode? Take a moment to think about your daily habits and their impact on your health.... In my health workshops, we take an in-depth look at our patterns, habits, cycles and their impact on our MEMEs. By learning to become "body health detectives" we can better understand our bodies, our minds and our health. Find out more at www.4upilateswellbeing.co.uk/workshop. Top tips in the morning to get you energised - Functional Kinesiology tips with Zoisa

Rhythms and cycles are part of nature. From seasonal cycles - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter to daily cycles - day, night. Our bodies have a 24 hour cycle and also work with the seasonal rhythms too. In fact, every animal has its flow and also a routine to support its health. Do you have a morning or evening bedtime routine? Wake up and start your day with water to help hydrate and get fluids going. Invigorate and get the energy going by being under cold water for a few seconds at the end of your shower, drinking hot lemon/lime or rubbing some neuro-lymphatic points. What and where are the neuro-lymphatic points? These are points that run down each side of the spine both front and back. At the back, these run from the base of the skull down the neck and ribs until you reach your tailbone, and in front, across the shoulder/collarbone and down the ribs. Massaging these points raises your energy and clears toxins from the body. Change, Challenge, Adaptability and Resilience

When considering your health and wellbeing there are 4 key questions I ask you to ask yourself. Today I'm going to look at question no 4 - Do I need to support? We've seen over this week how our bodies are driven by cycles, stages and rhythms. Fundamentally, our bodies are always working to bring us back to homeostasis (or balance) and our lifestyles, habits and environment all influence the ability of our bodies to support us with ease, or not. Taking the time to understand more about your own body and what works for your is important. The more awareness you bring to yourself and the subtle ways that your body communicates to you, the more opportunity you have to create routines and habits that help you thrive. Remember also that support comes not just from within us - recognising those early warning symptoms and signs from your body, telling you it needs help and taking action - but also in recognising when we need help and support from others. How supported are you in reaching your goals? Find those around you who help not hinder you on the journey. Find your Tribe. If you need help doing this, check out my health and lifestyle coaching, Kinesiology sessions or book on to my Take Control of Your Health Workshop on 3 June 2023. www.4upilateswellbeing.co.uk/health-workshop For questions 2 and 3 check out my blog: https://www.4upilateswellbeing.co.uk/post/four-fundamental-health-questions #wellbeing #healthworkshop #healtheducation #bodyhealthdetective #integrativehealthpractitioner #integratedhealth #integratedhealthcare #takingcontrolofmyhealth #takebackcontrolofyourhealth #emotionalhealth #fitnessgoals #lifegoals #guthealth #movebetterfeelfree #letsgetmoving #gettingyoumovingkeepingyoumoving #learnsomethingnew #somerton #GoodHabitsBadHabits #4keyquestionstohealth
