Covid-19 Studio Updates

Protecting your health

Enduring the Covid-19 pandemic has been tough both physically and mentally for many, with some suffering painful losses. So making sure our clients stay healthy and safe is our priority.

Our aim with this page is to keep you updated on the latest studio procedures as we work to Government advice through the changing pandemic landscape. But we also wanted to provide you with resources to help you manage in these unprecedented times, because understanding your body and your mind can help you feel more in control. For example, this short Ted-Ed video helps explain how our immune system works and I have written a blog about keeping well during lockdown

22 February 2021 - the roadmap to re-opening

On 22 Feb the Government outlined their 4 step roadmap out of lockdown. However, they have stated that before moving to the next step certain criteria must be met and therefore the dates provided are the earliest possible dates.

Based on the dates and information provided today, we have detailed below how your face-to-face sessions and classes are impacted on the 'road to return'. Whilst we are in lockdown we are still offering Zoom private and group sessions.

Finally, please remember that until we reach these dates, we are still in lockdown and so all lockdown rules apply.

Step 1 - 29 March

Outdoor group classes are permitted under the 'Rule of 6'. This means a teacher plus five clients. Classes can take place in a private garden.

Outdoor 121's can take place from 8 March.

Since 4U Pilates is studio based, this means we'll be conducting our private sessions and group classes on Zoom until Step 2

Step 2 - 12 April

Indoor Face to Face sessions can take place when 'Step 2' comes into effect.

HOWEVER

This applies to 1-2-1 sessions only or teaching of household bubbles.

Group classes will not be permitted until 'Step 3'.  We will continue to run Zoom Group Classes at this time.

Step 3 - 17 May

Indoor Group classes can recommence.

We anticipate further Government advice as we approach 'Step 3' about numbers in the class and distancing rules etc,. But we expect it to be similar to previous limitations. We will update you as we know more.

We will continue to run Zoom classes and Private classes in addition to studio classes

Step 4 - 19 July

Business

'as normal'

The Government anticipate a 'return to normal' at Step 4 on 19 July delayed from 21 June. We will provide more detail about any new or different required procedures at this time.

We will continue to run Zoom Classes and Private sessions alongside our studio sessions.

Important Information

Exemptions - Medical practitioners are still allowed to see patients and may continue to treat on a 121 basis before the 12 April date. If your 121 treatment is part of a rehabilitation programme please contact Zoisa for more information or see below

Before you return - Please ensure that you have read our safety guidelines and our instructions on 'returning to the studio after lockdown' which includes completing an online form before your first visit.

Thank you for your continued support over this time.
