A Great Value

INTRODUCTION TO
FUNCTIONAL
KINESIOLOGY

Held once a month at my Somerton Studio, the Clinic Days are an opportunity for you to access Functional Kinesiology at a reduced rate, in a group setting, with myself, one of my new qualified Kinesiologists, trainees (under supervision) or fellow tutors from College of Functional Wellness.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON A
CLINIC DAY

Before you attend, I will ask you to complete a health questionnaire online so that I can be aware of any medical conditions or needs.

Your appointment will be 121 although the room will be set up to accommodate up to 5 treatments to be conducted simultaneously. This will allow myself, or others foundation teachers from the College of Functional Kinesiology, to supervise the individual 121 sessions, ensuring that your Kinesiology Treatment is conducted correctly and you receive correct information.

If you are coming to the Functional Kinesiology clinic for support regarding to your mental health and wellbeing where privacy is important, I will arrange for you to be treated in the private treatment room.

This is a great way for you to experience Functional Kinesiology whilst allowing newly qualified and training students to practice under careful supervision.

Functional Kinesiology is a comprehensive, integrative, whole person empowerment perspective to health and wellness. It follows the premises that the body can heal itself when it has the resources, environment and support necessary.

Building on the origins of Applied Kinesiology and its chiropractic beginnings, Functional Kinesiology combines knowledge and ideas from Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, with modern day learnings of nutritional science and functional medicine - providing an integrative whole-body perspective to health and wellness with muscle testing still at the heart of it.

What is Functional Kinesiology?

Based on the Chinese 5 Element theory combined with chiropractic knowledge, acupuncture, and nutritional science, Functional Kinesiology is a hands-on fully clothed treatment where we use a series of muscle testing techniques to help identify imbalances in your body.

These ‘over’ or under’ energies in the body can be due to pain, hormones, digestion issues or emotional issues. The purpose of Kinesiology is to identify the issues or the ‘stressors’ on the system - whether that is physical, emotional, biological or electrical - and then re-balance the body and implement an ongoing programme to alleviate pain and regain mobility.

How does Functional Kinesiology help?
